Service Installation Request
The following items must be completed and/or returned to Ohop Mutual Light Company before your Service Installation can be completed and energized:
- Complete a Service Installation Request Application Form (form below)
- Provide a Site Plan with proposed building information (example at bottom of this page)
- Provide a Legal Address for your new construction (form below)
- Contact us to setup an Account
- Pay the Site Estimate Fee of $125.00 (This fee will be applied as a credit to your service installation cost)
- A Distribution Designer will call you to setup an Appointment to meet a Distribution Designer on the property
- Receive a Quotation Package for Service Installation
- Review the Service Installation Handbook and Specifications
- Pay the Installation Quote
- Complete and submit the Membership Application and provide a Copy of Photo Identification
- Get Company Provided Easements – if required
- Obtain an Electrical Permit from Washington State Labor & Industries
- Contact local telephone and cable providers to make arrangements for installation of service
- Request all Underground Locates via the Utilities Location Center (811)
- Prepare the Job Site for Service Installation
- Provide and install meter base and all electrical wiring for your project
- Contact WA State L & I for Inspection
- Dig Necessary Trenches
- Contact us to get the necessary Trench Inspection (After L & I Approved Meter Base Installation)
